Campfire Fun for All – Fire Starters, Lighters, and S’mores

campfire in metal ring

One of the best parts of camping is having a campfire. Not only does a campfire provide warmth, but it can also be used to cook yummy goodness. A few of my favorite campfire items include fire starters, s’more sticks, and my USB charged lighter.

Fire Starter

I’ll be the first to admit that starting a fire is not my best skill. However, using Melt Candle Company’s fire starters on Amazon has made the process much easier. The 1.2″ x 1.75″ wax and sawdust rectangles light easily and burn for an extended time. When it is extra windy, and I don’t have good kindling, I will typically use two fire starters to make the fire catch the bigger pieces easier. At 160 pieces per box, it lasts a long time, is easy to store, and is budget-friendly.

Lighter

Once I have my wood and fire starter all set I’ll use my USB charged lighter. At first, I was very skeptical it would actually work, however, it works beautifully. Since I can charge it using a USB plug, I never have to worry about it running out of fuel. In the eight months that I’ve owned the lighter, I’ve only had to charge it twice. It also has a small footprint since it is less than 8″ long and 1″ wide.

S’more Sticks

No campfire is complete without enjoying some s’mores. This 8 pack of s’more roasting sticks is perfect! It telescopes from 10″ to 29.5″ to make it easy to get to the perfect roasting spot in the campfire. In addition, each stick is color-coded to make it easy to identify which is which. However, my favorite feature is the rotisserie option. All you have to do is use your thumb or two fingers to spin the colored plastic ring and the stick will easily spin.
